Find Diapers Price in Q&A
Have you tried the new Fisher Price diapers? I am going to babiesrus tomorrow and I saw in their ad they have new diapers, Fisher Price makes them. Have you used them? What do you think? They are new, so I don't know if many have used them yet.

Lucky Mom**<3 replied: "no i have not used it... I will just stick with pampers haha"

Dianne replied: "No, I haven't tried them yet... I love BABY LOVE and they are cheap and no leaks at all...."

what was the price of disposable diapers in 1990? I want to know the difference in prices for disposable diapers for a paper I'm writing. Prices now and then.

Micah'sಌMommy [6/5/09] replied: "My mom said it was like 5 bucks for a 35 pack."

seren_zen replied: "Wow... I dunno, that is a good question though! I'd have to imagine much cheaper, I think I recall around $10 a bag for my little cousin."

fun sized gypsys mom replied: "in 1988-1989 (when my brother was a baby), my mother told me a jumbo box of diapers cost $10, and a carton of cigarettes cost $10, and she had $10 left on her and needed both. She quit smoking because the diapers were more important. Hope this helps with your paper, lol. This is the only way I remembered how much they cost, lol."

Where to buy cloth diapers for a good price? I have been looking on the internet for a few days to find some cloth diapers but they are so darn expensive... Does anyone have any good tips for me on where to find cloth diapers?

Julie replied: "they are all going to be expensive, but they will be cheaper than disposables in the long run. you can find new cloth diapers on ebay at a fraction of the cost of buying them from online dealers. i liked bum genius and happy heinys."

McMom replied: "Follow this link - Lots of great home made cloth nappies at good prices made by work at home moms."

angela_de_la_court replied: "I made them at home I got 10 diapers for only 20 US DLS :-) good price! I have a page but is in spanish the instructions"

anthony replied: "Try diaperswappers.com. You can find new diapers there, or tell them you're looking for new ones."

What is the price of diapers for a baby's first year? From the day there are born until they are one year old how many boxes would i need to buy? How much is each box? thanks!

cabriojazz replied: "The government recently calculated the cost of raising a child from birth to the age of eighteen and came up with the figure ~$160,140 for a middle-income family. Talk about sticker shock!! That doesn't even touch college tuition. For those with kids, that figure leads to wild fantasies about all the things we could have had. What do you get for your $160,140? Naming rights. First, middle and last. Glimpses of God every day. Giggles under the covers every night. More love than your heart can hold. Butterfly kisses and Velcro hugs. Endless wonders over rocks, ants, clouds and warm cookies. A hand to hold, often sticky with jelly, or peanut butter. A partner for blowing bubbles, flying kites, building sandcastles and skipping down the sidewalk in the pouring rain. Someone to laugh yourself silly with no matter what the boss said or how your stocks performed that day. For $160,140, you never have to grow up. You get to finger-paint. . . carve pumpkins. . . play hide-and-seek. . . catch lightning bugs. . . and never stop believing in Santa Claus. You have an excuse ~ to keep reading the adventures of Piglet and Pooh. . . watching Saturday morning cartoons. . . going to Disney movies. . . and wishing on stars. You get to frame rainbows, hearts and flowers under refrigerator magnets. . . patch a broken heart. . . police a slumber party. . . ground them forever. . . and love them without limits, so one day they will, like you, love without counting the cost."

tammer replied: "that would depend on the size of your baby and how fast it grows............ my son was in new borns for 3 weeks, then in size one for 6 months.............. while my daughter was way bigger at birth. She was never able to use the newborns..... and was only in the size one's for not even a full month. Size one has more diapers in it then size 2 does. average diaper bag cost is 12.88. Use atleast 2 a week. so between 1300-1500 for the first year. That is a very rough guess. Dont buy them too far ahead though since you will have to change sizes If you shop at a wholesale club like sams club you can save hundreds. I buy in bulk, and save alot of $$$$$ Aso found this link "

Shannon S replied: "I don't buy the boxes so i'm not positive on the cost of them. But buying regular packages of huggies for 10.00 a peice and about 2 and half to 3 packs a month is about 30.00 every month. I would say you're looking at about 400.00 in diapers for the first year. depends on how much and fast child grows, goes to bathroom and what type diapers u use, they all cost different prices."

Latoya B replied: "Hi im going to tell you now that diapers range from17$ to 29$ a box depending on what size and brand. I have an 11 month old son. The type of brand I prefer to use is Pampers or Luvs because other brands are not as good as these. The average price of diapers honestly depends on howwmuch weight your baby gains. The reason I say this is because the bigger your baby gets the less diapers you will get. For exaple true fact in number 1s they get 55to 60diapers and in 2s they get 52to 40. But honestly you will end up spending at least $300.00 on diapers for a year and thats not including if they have the runs . Donot attempt to buy alot of diffrent size boxes of diapers because you may waist your money!! just purchase as needed..."

What are the best diapers for the best price? Huggies, Pampers, Parents Choice, White Cloud, etc Let me know what you think!

Eleanor's Mommy replied: "I am a big fan of Pampers!!!"

Wyatt's mama replied: "Luvs. They are only a few dollars more than Parents Choice and White Cloud but they are basically the same diaper as Pampers. I LOVE Luvs!! **I'm telling you Luvs are the same as pampers!!"

Aundrea replied: "I swear by Pampers. No leaks, not bulky."

Peyton is HERE!!!! replied: "If you are just starting out go with the pampers swaddlers, they have a line on the front that turns blue of your baby has peed, this has been INVALUABLE!!! As your kid gets older go with the parent's choice from walmart, they are a lot cheaper and they are just as good."

Tanner and Leahs MaMa replied: "I like LUVS"

Kara replied: "We use Luvs. They're not as expensive as some other diapers and they work great!"

Hayden's Mommy replied: "I'm a Huggies fan. I buy the large boxes at Costco because they're cheaper than buying several little packages."

GeorgiaDawgs replied: "Pampers specifically Pampers Swaddlers... best quality. Try buying them from diapers.com they have pretty good sales. THey also have the gifts to grow program which works like the coke rewards."

3 more angel babies due 11/28! replied: "I'm a fan of Huggies and Pampers."

Jacqui replied: "Used pampers swaddlers and then baby dry, decided to try luvs to save some $$. Luvs works just as well as pampers baby dry and are cheaper. best prices I've found is on diapers.com"

Dee replied: "Luvs is the best quality for its reasonable price in my opinion"

mommyof2 replied: "I buy luvs, they are cheaper then huggies and pampers and they work just as well. i wouldnt buy parents choice. i use to get those for my daughter and she always peed thru them and they fall apart easy"

Katelyn's Mama *Tina* replied: "I think Luvs is a decent diaper for a reasonable price. I like Huggies and if you sign up on their website they will send you coupon. I just got two $3 off coupons. Which makes them the same price as Luvs in some stores. So when I have my coupons I will buy Huggies, because I think they are the best diaper, better the Pampers. But without a coupon I usually buy Luvs, which I think are a great diaper also. I never have tried any store brands. But I heard Wal-mart (parent choice) isn't too bad, but not so great for night time."

is this gud price on diapers? size 1 (56) diapers: $13 size 1 (112) diapers: $17 new to baby stuff.dont know which is cheaper ,which is expensive if i go to costco do i get better price than this .on average hw much they wud cost .i dont mind the brand my main question is whether its a gud deal to get them fr that price.this is on craigs.

pumkinsmommy replied: "Yeah.... that sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Buy in bulk.... the 112 for 17 dollars is cheaper."

Mommy of Thomas & Brody replied: "I'd say go for the 112 diapers for $17. It doesn't sound like a bad deal."

Rosanna O replied: "online costco has huggies in size 2 and up, for $52 u get 258. or the kirkland brand does have a size 1 for $39.99 u get 234. you may want to look here too:http://www.diapers.com/"

Allison B replied: "Most brands that have like 56 or even 80 or 90 are like $22 a box (Pampers and Huggies). l use Luvs on my daughter, they are almost exactly like the Pampers, but instead of getting a box of 88 for $22, l get a box of 108 for $19. Good luck, and l hope l was able to help!"

winkster520 replied: "The 56 diapers for $13 sounds expensive. I buy Luvs and for 56 Size 1's they are $8.49. The 112 for $17 sounds ok. I order my diapers from. They have all name brand stuff in the giant bulk sizes and I dont need to buy a membership. They also ship your order for free if you buy more than $49.00. I just put in an order yesterday morning at 10 AM and got it today at 6:30 PM. They are fast and cheap! I reccommend it to everyone!"

Heather Y replied: "It's best to get the price per diaper and make sure you are comparing apples to apples (i.e. Huggies to Huggies and not Huggies to White Cloud). To get the price per diaper you take the total price and divide it by the number of diapers. 56 diapers for $13 is 23 cents per diaper 112 diapers for $17 is 15 cents per diaper Assuming those are Huggies here are comparable prices from: Amazon.com 15 cents per diaper with subscribe and save Diapers.com 17 cents per diaper So the amazon.com or the $17 ones you have listed are the best deal assuming the ones you have listed are Huggies."

Arden replied: "The 112 for $17 is cheaper than the 56 for $13. Because 13/56=0.23214.....rounds to $0.24 per diaper. But 17/112=0.151785............rounded to $0.16 per diaper. so go for the 112 for $17. That is a good price."

what is the average price of diapers? people always tell me if theres one thing you should start buying early its diapers, especially when u see them on sale. but i dont even know the average cost of diapers, so how would i know if im really getting a good deal for diapers if they are on sale??

♥TikiGoddess♥ replied: "I prefer Pampers Swaddlers. They run about $10 for 40. Huggies are about the same price."

Just accept it and get over it. replied: "Well it depends on the name brand or store brand and what size boxes or bags you buy. They range from $6-25. You should start looking at prices so that you have an idea."

sinistermooess replied: "i buy1 jumbo pack of pampers swaddlers everytime i get paid, here they are around 16 to 18 dollars."

KEVIN H replied: "Well the average diaper price for lets say a pack of 30 will run you about 20-25 beans. But you should start saving those saturady morning coupons from the paper trust me !"

Megan11034 replied: "buy them in bulk .....thats the best buy!!!! I buy boxes of like 124 its normally around $20 or if you dont mind off brands like white cloud $15 Make sure you are buying differnt sizes ......they come from 1-5."

Jenni C replied: "Well I swear on Pampers, never liked Huggies or the no name products, but different things work for different babies. The large carton box of pampers is $20, the amount of diapers in it depends on what size the baby is in. So average I would say you spend 16-20 dollars on a large box of diapers"

ronb48146 replied: "you start looking now and keep looking, maybe you are not ready to be a parent."

P*Kitty replied: "well start checking the sunday newspaper and get coupons you can never go wrong with coupons...and buy from walmart because they always have the cheapest price and they even have their own brand of diapers (dont buy too many newborn packs though cause they go to size 1 in no time) unless you have a really small baby"

julie_ramrattan2003 replied: "they're like 5.99 where i live in NY. they're really expensive."

lindailarson replied: "Dont buy early. Sign up on pampers, huggies, etc websites. They'll send you good coupons. Coupons rule when it comes to diapers."

Rozzy replied: "When my babies were newborns I used pampers swaddlers they run about $10 for 40.They go up to size two. After my girls got out of size twos I tried luvs they are only $17.99 for 104 but they don't work that well for me so I tried Huggies Supreme natural fit with hug flex technology I love them they are a little expensive they run $19.99 for a big box, The smaller packages of 40 or so all run about $10 Store brands are great in a quick fix but I wouldn't use them all the time."

debt replied: "It all depend,on quantity, by bag or box,and also brand. bag is less in quantity, obviously box has more diapers. to make it easy for you, some times price is not all, but quality. less you pay less quality you get,and so on. Remember: your baby Deserves the best."

xtra9009 replied: "You might want to just set aside some money instead of buying them. I remember we tried some cheaper brands and had a lot of leaking and ended up with pampers (the most expensive) just to not think about it anymore. After my son got older it was easier to put him in cheapo ones but they are all slightly different. I was thinking about doing that for the next baby but I would be really upset if I was stuck with packages of opened diapers that dont work for us."

sarah replied: "I love huggies. It depends on the size. My son is a size 3 and i buy 144 for $25"

Sour Grapes replied: "My daughter uses Pampers and the largest box I can buy at our supermarket costs about $20. But whichever brand(s) you finally do decide upon, make sure to sign up on their web sites so you get the free samples and coupons in the mail. Makes spending all that money on diapers a *little* bit easier when you have some good coupons."

Pauly replied: "That all depends on where you buy them."

I need price comparisons. What are the prices of target brand items such as diapers, nicotine etc? I'm using it for a speech. the generic brand prices - not pampers etc. i need prices of items with the target symbol on them - i can't find it on the website, unless i'm blind?

Eraserhead replied: "Go on Target's official website...they list prices of everything...."

Poor Horatio replied: "I went to Target's web site and typed in "diapers" (without the quotations) in the search box and found 716 items listed with prices. I will let you sort through them to find the generic brand diapers. Click on the source link below to see the results of my search."

How many diapers come in a case of size 4 and size 5 Huggies diapers? Specifically, the cases from Costco, if you know - though all cases may hold the same number of diapers. I'm doing some diaper pricing.

dj-kelzer replied: "not theat many"

valgalallen replied: "im thinking like 70"

Diane replied: "36"

paytie replied: "they com in 28 diapers"

Green Eyes replied: "It depends on the size of case you want, they have different amounts and prices."

Stephanie S replied: "108 and 96"

ROXIE replied: "over here it's like i belive 64 it's been awhile since i bought diapers though"

Michele J replied: "It depends on where you purchase them. I buy mine on line from 1800diapers and they come in a case of 150...it works out to like 25 cents each. If I remember correctly at Costco they are packed in 125 per case and in my area they are about $35 per case. The online is so much cheaper for me and it only takes about 3-4 days from the day I place the order and if you order $50 worth of stuff, wipees, etc. shipping is free!"

lady $horty replied: "it depends on the size of it. the little ones have 24."

Most economical places to buy name-brand diapers? I am due with my first baby in about 7 1/2 weeks and was wondering about buying diapers. I have been advised to start with Pampers Swaddlers. I would like to know anyone's opinions on these and other brands, and also, which are the best places to buy diapers(price-wise)? The stores in my area are Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Costco, grocery stores, and that's about it. We live in Olympia, WA and unfortunately don't have a Sam's Club, which I hear is great. Any advice?

Shannon E replied: "walmart!"

hstris replied: "I buy them by the box at either walmart or target and I always use a $1.50 off coupon."

FantasyGirl replied: "Well, pampers swaddlers are definatly the best. I love them. You will see why when you are at the hospital, because most hospitals use them. When my oldest got older though I switched from pampers to parent choice because our second son was born. I still used swaddlers for him for the first few months, but after that parent's choice, because it was cheaper on me and they were still a good brand. They don't leak. Though I do feel parent's choice is losing a little of their touch. Their diapers are just not as good as they used to be. BTW- Both can be bought at walmart. Go with the swaddlers if your not on a budget! (Don't know about huggies, both my kids were allergic.)"

D'Artagnan Pluck replied: "Costco, Costco, Costco. Get cupons. They will send them to you like CRAZY if you go to the websites and ask for them."

double hugs double kisses replied: "I found that I really liked luvs.. Huggies gave my twins rashes and in the beginning we used pampers swaddlers and reg. pampers. Then pampers switched to the stretchy sides and my daughters started to have a lot of leaks, we switched to Luvs and they have been wonderful, i think i like them more than I do pampers. Wal-mart has a good price on Luvs, they are a few dollars cheaper than pampers and you get more in a box. If you have a target (didn't see that listed) they have good deals on luvs, better than wal-mart. I would suggest you see what you feel is best for the budget (the cheap wal-mart brands and story brands never were good in my eyes, my girls have sensitive skin and they just made them get bad rashes not to mention they didnt look comfy) I would get the best for the budget first and see if that works for your baby. If not try another brand.. some diapers fit and do well with some children and not others so only time will tell which works best for you.."

Leigh G replied: "Hi -congratulations! With your stores, I'd price walmart and costco. I'd bet Costco would be the better deal. But watch the grocery stores for sales and of course add in the coupons. Personally, I don't skimp on diapers. If you skimp on them, you could end up with accidents, spills, etc. which result in more laundry, damages clothes, etc. Pampers are good for tall/long average to slim kids, Huggies are good for shorter wider kids. I used Pampers Swaddlers (when she was small enough), then Cruisers. It was 5 years ago, so I don't remember the names, sorry!"

lesmith replied: "I used Pampers Swaddlers too in the beginning but once I realized my son didn't have much of a preference I switched to Luvs. They have a nice leak guard for during the night and they soak up a lot! They are usually cheaper than Pampers or Huggies and they will send coupons out as well. Whatever yo udo do not use Target brand. Haha I did that one time and they do NOT contain blow outs. It was everywhere! Good luck!!!"

NewMomma replied: "I get diapers at Costco once my baby moves out of the Newborn size. For Newborn size I prefer either Pampers Swadlers or Huggies Gentle Care and Costco doesn't carry either of those. However, a baby is only in Newborn size for a short period of time and you get tons of coupons for them if you sign up at each company's web site. So, for those, I just shop at Target - they cost between $9.99 and $12.99 for a package of 40 diapers. Costco carries the Huggies brand (they don't carry Pampers) and they are cheaper there. You can get about half the number of diapers at Target for $19.99, whereas you get double the amount at Costco for $34.99. So, you get double the amount for only $15 more. Their Costco brand is very similar to Huggies too, although the price differential really isn't that big so I usually just stick with the Huggies with the exception of the Size 1/2. I like this size right after Newborn instead of using the standard Size 1. I just moved my 5-week old daughter over tothe Costco 1/2s and they're working beautifully at keeping in explosions. :) Congrats on you baby!"

autismcaregiver replied: "Costco is a great place to buy diapers. Although I believe they only carry Huggies, but it might be different for each state. The Costco brand wipes work just as well as the name brand wipes and are a great price. If you can't go there, I would say Wal-mart would be the cheapest, but there are also coupons. Good luck."

LaLa™ replied: "i buy from diapers.com. free shipping for 50$ and over."
