What are your 'must have' travel items for packing? Mine: clothesline and clips, ceramic mug, mug-sized immersion water heater, light colored money belt. What are yours?

calin replied: "chapstick, sunblock, baggies, pepper spray, trashy tabloids :)"

StarrJelly replied: "Zip lock bags! I put everything in them - especially things that could leak or nice things that shouldn't get wet."

nettie2812 replied: "tooth brush, tooth paste. hair brush, cell phone charger. and usually a bathing suit!"

tonalc2 replied: "Zip lock bags If I'm going to be in one location for a long time, coffee makings (mug, immersion heater, small coffee press) Electronic needs (converter/adapter, chargers) Slippers/flip flops The list is much longer for my carry on items."

Meg replied: "Purell Travel u-shaped pillow Grocery bags Backpack Sunglasses Ice packs (the kind you smash and they become cold; you never know when you'll need one) and pretty much any first aid items that seem prudent Snack food and bottled water"

Is CLIPPING COUPONS really worth it? What about thegrocerygame.com?? I have found that I do save a lot of money clipping coupons -- my last grocery bill was $125 but I only paid $55 b/c of the coupons / grocery game -- but I also find I am buying things we wouldn't have otherwise bought (body wash / carmelized walnuts...) and I spend hours organizing the grocery list and then searching for sale items at the store... Folks with exerience doing the coupon thing -- what do you think? As a note, I used to only go grocery shopping once a month (always working , traveling, eating out...) before we had our baby -- now that I stay home, I have more time and we do need to save more money than before... Thanks!

Girl360 replied: "For me, clipping coupons is totally worth it. I can cover my newspaper subscription in 1-2 trips to the store w/ my savings, usually. I shop at a place that has member card + double coupons, so it's soooo worth it for me. I usually save at least 11-12 bucks on my grocery bill. Grocerygame.com is a paid subscription service, and I would never pay for something I could do so simply on my own."

starshipminivan replied: "I find that clipping coupons doesn't help much because of the time it takes and the fact that, like you said, many coupons are for stuff I never buy. Instead, I shop sales. I'd prefer to spend my time doing cooking from scratch than to spend it clipping coupons. The results are similar and I don't end up wasting products."

Bigboi47 replied: "Coupons do save money the come in most Sunday papers save them and toss the ones you don't need. Shop at different stores to find out the best prices on items you need."

Common_Sense2 replied: "Heck yeah, I clip coupons and I save a whole lot of money. I used to think that it was a waste of time, but I learned from shopping with my sister, and how much money she had saved using coupons. Now, she's got me collecting coupons too."

ACK & DJ replied: "I look at it as money I keep in my pocket rather than the stores keeping it in their registers. Every dime I save gains interest in my bank and helps my family. I don't mind taking the time to organize myself to use coupons. I have stopped saving coupons for things I don't actually need or use, since it makes you spend money on ridiculous items. One tip: I love putting extra coupons I won't use on top of items in the store. I consider it my random act of kindness. Hey, it can't hurt the karma either! One more tip: Once I had kids I totally sold my name and address to every formula, diaper, Babies R Us, etc. company that had a website. Get free stuff and better coupons in the mail. And even though I never used formula, I used them for trading in my playgroup. Ya, that's right, we exchange coupons. We're badass."

justhinking replied: "it is a good thing, my only problem is after I get to the grocery store I remember that my coupon folder is either at home or in the other car."

CouponGirl replied: "Clipping Coupons are TOTALLY worth it!!!! I save thousands every year by using coupons. In fact, using coupons helped me pay for my honeymoon a few years back AND a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes I bought this summer. If you're REALLY looking to save $ - ditch the grocerygame.com. You can find the same service for free at couponmom.com. No longer having a membership fee will help you feel less guilty about the carmelized walnuts ;-) PS - Don't forget to use coupons on other items - dining out, travel, shopping for the new baby. You can find them everywhere. My favorites are the Entertainment Book / entertainment.com and couponmom.com"

Can I have your views on a Cancer woman plz? I know a cancer girl from when I was a shorty, but we rarely spoke. I always went out to play with her younger brother. 20 years later in our late twenties I saw her while I was travelling overseas. We had dinner and went to the theatre to catch up. She told me when we were little she didn't speak to me as she didn't know what to talk to me about. Now we get along pretty well and we talked for hours - she told me about the past and what she been upto since. I payed for dinner so she asked if I mind if she pay for theatre. I notice she put her hand in my pocket when I put my money in it as she wanted to see my money clip I use. when I suggested I send her something when I got back as a thank you gift, we stopped at her place and she gave me a gift to take home. She hug me goodbye. The girl is sending some sort of signal but what is it?

Ruby Tuesday replied: ""Keep in touch" - nothing more, nothing less."

CHRISTINE replied: "something bothers or she's afraid of...Keep in touch, but don't press her,ask her on another date nice and jently,I believe that she won't say no.But do you know if she has a boyfriend or something? You can check out for the cancers at Good luck anyway"

Victoria replied: "She wants you."

FaisalX replied: "I think she is sending u a msg of "This Could Work, pls let's keep it going", well, (in general based on my experience) cancer girls usually sweet and with a huge imagination, which loves to be loved and taken care of, really admires someone who listen and understand, as long as she sees stability then she is there to stay, she might have found this in u, for now, my advice is to keep it going as it is, don't jump into conclusions yet. ((some ANGRY looking GIRL is little bitter with life but i don't know why :-P, so there must be something MORE than LESS....follow ur instincts!!))"

joulsey replied: "Looks like she likes you a lot."

What is the best digital camera this year for a good price? I am looking for a good digital camera that takes GREAT pictures. I plan on traveling a lot in the future on missions trips and plan on using the pictures I take as promotional pictures. I also would like the camera to be able to take good video as well. I know that video takes up a lot of memory and I am not wanting to video a whole lot, just a few clips. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!! Oh, and I am working a budget to. So, the best quality I can get for low money would be great too! =)

Thomas S replied: "If you want a really small and portable camera, I would say that the Canon SD1100 IS is the best deal. The Sony W120 is also good, but I prefer the image quality of the Canon. If you just want a good camera that takes good pictures and don't need it to be super small, the Canon A590 IS is a great camera. Of course, if you need a really cheap camera, the Canon A470 is your best bet, though it's not as good as the other cameras I suggested. I would buy from Amazon.com or Buydig.com, as their prices are usually the cheapest. If you want to compare image quality, check out this link:"

mo_luv22 replied: "I am a Cancer, and I know when I like someone that I am not very quiet abt it and throw tons of signals. I would say that w/ the hand in the pocket and the hugs goodbye, those are typical signs of affection for a cancer who likes someone. Take it and see how it goes! Here is some more info on us: Cancer Positive Traits • Emotional and loving • Intuitive and imaginative • Shrewd and cautious • Protective and sympathetic Negative Traits • Changeable and moody • Overemotional and touchy • Clinging and unable to let go Those traits definitely refer to me. Esp the negative, unfortunately."

Michelle B replied: "I answered this question when you had it posted in the relationships section and im sticking with my answer...im a CANCER....July 1st.....She was impressed with you she wants to get to know you better...and if shes a cancer and she offered to pay for theatre, she wanted you to know that she appreciated dinner and she wanted to do the same for you. Also the physical contact is a definite sign she likes you...especially if SHE made the effort."

chica™ replied: "Find out her venus sign. She could be a cancer but could have a leo venus making her more direct and outgoing as far as showing her love. Or she could be a virgo or cancer venus, making her very quiet about it. The sun sign doesn't always determine this. Take me for example. I'm an Aries and I should be direct about love matters but really I'm not. I take things very slowly and I don't like showing my love affections in public. I'm very private about it. Thats because my rising is in virgo and my venus in taurus. There's much more than the sun sign in astrology"

Anyone been legally robbed before? My husband and I were traveling on a business trip, flying out of Baltimore airport. We were going through security, all our shoes and belongings had passed through without a problem. The female security person went to my husbands pile of stuff and pulled out the money clip, made of fossil dinosaur bone and was engraved, and pulled the money out of it and said, this could be a weapon and threw it in a locked box on the wall. It cost me almost 150 dollars and was a christmas gift. They told us there was nothing we could do about it, except claim for charges. Are some of these people out of control or what? Have any of you had a similar problem?

Phantom replied: "weird, my wife's a security person at the baltimore airport, and i found that in her closet w/ some other xmas gifts..."

justsomedumbgirl replied: "that is totally effed call a lawyer what shite! id sue em"

Salem replied: "You need to write the Department of Homeland Security and let them know. They are now if charge of that. Chances are you will not get the clip back, but you may be reimbursed. Go to their website and it explains what to do."

blkwdw86 replied: "Yep. I get legally robbed every April 15th."

Eldude replied: "I'm legally robbed everytime I pay my taxes. More so with the 80% that pays for welfare bums."

JTMF-PINOY replied: "The security personnel must have secured the item with your name on it so that you could still claim it on your return or demand the airline to have the item carried as checked-in baggage and claim it on your destination. Confiscation of items should not allowed for valuable items."

bluasakura replied: "I think that could have been a weapon thus the taking was justified. Check out the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendment... there shall be no taking of property without due process. This is what happens when our airports become a police state. It happens to all of us."

Bay-b Doll 06 replied: "i would take legal action if i was you hunie. write a letter to the head of security, seriously sweety that is just messed up!!!!"

Gary F replied: "I was bringing back a gold cigarette lighter of my Mother's after my sister and I had closed their house. It didn't even work and I complained at the counter, but they took it anyway and told me I could file a complaint (the form is on the Internet) in Las Vegas (where they said everything was shipped). Of course, you cannot even get a claim number ot anything similar to prove that the item was yours to start with. Then, when I got home and opened my bags, I found a handful of lighters, pocketknives and other little items I had thrown in and forgotten about. I would have been better off not telling them about the one lighter."

elf replied: "Yes, in August 2000. We were robbed while at Wal-Mart and about 1000 something dollars worth of stuff was stolen, including a cd player, 30 video games, and tons of my mom's jewelry. It was maybe even 2 or 3 grand. I dunno. But the robbers were never caught. It pisses me off to this day."

benzhowz replied: "yeah, Its called taxation without representation. And although its what this country was founded on, even today people pay false taxes on things misrepresented on a daily basis."

Waldo F replied: "Alright... the only way i have been legally robbed, and a couple others have already said this is through my taxes. Also to these idiots who say you should sue them... their out of their minds, because you would pay more for a lawyer than the money clip is worth anyways. if i were you i would get in contact with the airport and find out what you need to do to either get it back or see if they will re-imburse you for it. if not, get over it, because if you do anything legally there's about a 50% chance you get your clip back or get reimbursed, and a 99% chance that you're gona spend more money than the clip is worth so you'll be upside down. I'm sorry to hear about your situation, and i hope the best to you, however i think it would be stupid to take this too far and lose money over the whole thing."

Goof replied: "Canadian police and judges many times have stolen my properties and exhibits during trials, and my complaints against them never investigated. WE must be very careful when dealing with government, not all of them are honest; they are normal citizens that were hired. However, I hope one day, YAHOO, or GOOGLE, have 'particular' pages that people be able to report against authorties; and government have someone to investigate that. INTERNET is very powerful, we must try to use is to safe our society even against criminals who wrongly hired by thegovernment."

water2 replied: "They have to do what is required for safety, no question. I mistakenly had a pair of sizzors in my backpack, they took it. I think we have to be aware before we board a plane, what is in our bags - and how it may be analyzed. Sadly, this is not fair given this situation, but security gates do not take into account or judge motive, just potential hazardous objects. I would claim the charges to get re-embursed though if you could."

Bet you didn't know this? Many people that travel carry a pocket alarm with them. this alarm is a small device that is hung around the door knob, and when someone touches the knob his body capacitance sets off the alarm. these nasty nuisences can be found by walking down the halls of a hotel and touching all the door knobs very quickly. if you happen to chance upon one, attach a 3' length of wire or other metal object to the knob. this will cause the sleeping business pig inside to think someone is breaking in and call room service for help. all sorts of fun and games will ensue. Some high-security instalations use keypads just like touch-tone pads (a registered trade mark of bell systems) to open locks or disarm alarms. most use three or four digits. to figure out the code, wipe the key-pad free from all fingerprints. after it had been used just apply finger print dust and all four digits will be marked. now all you have to do is figure out the order. if you want to have some fun with a keypad, try pressing the * and # at the same time. many units use this as a panic button. This will bring the owner and the cops running and ever-one will have a good time. never try to remove them from the wall, as they all have tamper switches. On the subject of holdups, most places (including super-markets, liquer stores, etc.) have what is known as a money clip. these little nasties are placed at the bottom of a money drawer and when the last few bills are with-drawn a switch closes and sets the alarm off. that's why when you make your withdrawl it's best to help your-self so you can check for these little nasties. if you find them, merely insert ones underneath the pile of twenties, and then pull out the twen-ties, leaving the one-dollar bill behind to prevent the circuit from closing. If you shoplift and see cameras, look at the brand. if it is surveillance video systems (SVS) you need not worry. these cameras look realistic to the point of pilot lights, coax, and scanning. however, they are only empty boxes.

A cheeky way to save money as an away fan at Blackpool .....? I'm embarrassed beyond belief at the state of my beloved Blackpools 2 sided ground, as the chairman has a lot to answer for, but this could be advantageous to travelling fans who are cheeky enough to do this kind of deal in the future. Please read on..... In the following Youtube clip some Pie eating Wigan fans posted this clip about our S**t ground. Now as the camera pans around the two stands, you will see ( behind the demolished end) a construction that is all but complete of the new travel-lodge which is due to open this April(ish). The two unbuilt sides of Bloomfield Road have been like that for the last 6 years at least ( And there's very little news as to when the stands will be completed or infact If they'll ever be completed.) Now to the good news for you Away fans. Travel lodge have announced pre bookings on rooms can be snapped up from as little as £9.( less than half the price on a matchday ticket.) LMAO. Oh here's the article in the paper.... Hiya Paul S. I'm Blackpool til I die, mate. as things stand at the moment all games are all but sell-outs anyway. the only way more revenue will be brought in is If we build the other two stands. In the meantime , we 'Pool fans have to see the funny side of things with the state of the ground .... Or we'll cry. Hiya Flower, As them Catherine Tate characters says.... What a f****n' liberty ...... Who dear, me dear , moan dear , no dear. Oh and by the way.... Preston. shakes head and walks away piddling myself with laughter.

paul s replied: "Why as a Blackpool fan are you telling people how to avoid paying money to your club. I dont understand, surely more match day revenue for the club is a good thing"

flower19602003 replied: "You should support Preston then Dave :) lol stop ur moaning. And whos the thumbs down troll?? lol another sado about i guess :))"

hannah d replied: "what was the point of that"

{_αѕιм_} replied: "You shouldnt tell us how too save. You should ask for more money to sign Ronaldinho!!!!!"

terry h replied: "Makes me laugh when the ball shoots over the goal at that end... the ball boys are scrambling between cars to get it back.lol Hi Pete I'm up blackpool tomorrow , hope it's not too cold."
