Questions and Answers
Clipping horses/ponies. Is there a need for such a service? How much do you pay? (UK)? I don't have any local contacts where I am but am wondering if people pay outsiders to clip their horses and ponies. I have clipped hundreds of horses and am thinking I'd like to provide a clipping service. I don't have any clippers so would have to buy some but can't afford to waste the money if it's something that people do themselves. There are literally hundreds of livery yards and riding schools within driving distance of where I live and once I'd got the clippers I'd be happy to advertise and drop in. So really my questions are; do you or would you pay to get your horse clipped and how much? Thanks.

westerngamergirl replied: "i'm sure you could that- very much appreciated from the people who don't have to do the hassle of that large project!"

Pony Help101 replied: "I dont have people clip my horses. Sure sometimes people who get payed to do such are better at it but they dont know EXACTLY what you want and i think you would have better luck just getting some clippers. They last a long time. Im not sure which brand we use but you should definatly clip your own horse."

ibbibud replied: "You should go round to these places and ask. Then you will kow if it's worth it to get into it or not."

*cowgirlofarabians* replied: "I would much prefer continuing to clip my own horse(i only trim ears, bridlepath, whiskars.I would not pay some one to do it. But I am sure at some places people would pay for that services, if they do not have the time to do it.you will want to invest in a very good pair of clippers and keep them oiled and sharpened well since you will be using them more than the average horse owner does.good luck"

buckingxhorse replied: "i wouldn't pay for it, my horse isn't that difficult to clip.. if he was like TERRIFIED(bucking, rearing, and flipping out) of the clippers then i'd consider it because then i wouldn't have to deal with it. it depends how much i would pay, i would charge a clipping fee and then an addition to that how well the horse behaves while being clipped...i think its a good idea for people with wacko horses that flip when they see clippers. =)"

Debi replied: "I got someone in to do mine last year. He did a brilliant job and charged £25. I'll be inviting him back later this year."

Should I buy these human hair clip in extensions? They look pretty could but what are the bad things about it? Will it make me look bad? If it is bad, will I go bald? lol I am not from UK or Britain and the money is in the pounds sign... should I still go for it? Thanks for help!

Blondy! (♥jblover!) replied: "uhh no offense but it kinda looks like an animal i'd say its a nogo"

lissarocks02 replied: "try looking on amazon.com I'm getting some myself, so I don't know the negatives yet. I know you won't go bald though! They're clip ins! lol. good luck! =]"

christine replied: "you could definately wear something like that. and it will not make you go bald, you take it out whenever you want. i know jessica simpson has a line like that, its only around $100 each. pounds are not equal to dollars, so it will be very expensive in dollars as well. sally beauty supply also has extensions. extensions will not make you look bad at all if you get the right color, texture, and a good length."

Just a preview clip of Doctor Who on Children in Need. Less than we've come to expect, but is it enough? Apparently, the only Doctor Who related item on Children in Need night on BBC1 (Nov 14th) will be a 2 minute preview clip of this year's Christmas episode "The Next Doctor". Will this be enough to satisfy the fans? Or should the BBC have gone to a bit more effort with their "flagship" show, considering there's no new series until 2010, and the show's 25th anniversary is next month? (it's likely that they'll just be showing the Doctor Who proms concert, recorded earlier this year for the anniversary, later in November) Surely DW fans would have been more likely to donate money to CIN, if the BBC had put in a bit more effort to do something special? Above should read 45th anniversary, not 25th.

Issy M replied: "im a massive dr who fan! i cant believe all we get is a 2 min clip! WHAT A RIP OFF! god! mine? "

mdfalco71 replied: "Err....reckon you mean 45th there, Phantom old chap ;o) Granted it's not as much as in previous years, but then Who is in a unique position right now - never before, except in the dark times of the hiatus, has the lead actor been able to commit to a run doing something else, like Hamlet, while in the role. Never before has Who had such sway over the public consciousness (except possibly during the height of Dalekmania - around '66?) - and certainly never before has it had the kind of power in broadcasting circles that it has now. So I think the break in the show is a symbol of its strength and its success, rather than something they need to compensate for particularly. And I reckon Who fans are fairly generous sorts at the best of times, and will donate cos it's the right thing to do. Don't reckon they only donated in the past cos they were given something extra. And the thing is, if the 45th anniversary passes quite quietly, it'll just fuel the demand for something outrageously special for the 50th, won't it? I mean, would it be cool to get a bit more than a 2-minute clip? Hellyeah, of course it would. Do we deserve it as a right? Not necessarily so..."

Simon M replied: "It actually 45 years not 25. There will be three specials next year. I can wait until christmas, its only 6ish weeks away"

Peter H replied: "Bit of a let down i say."

WHO am i? replied: "should have done a mini episode like last year. sticks in the mud.."

Greyhound Six replied: "Was going to correct you on that “25th anniversary” but I see you corrected yourself and two others have already corrected you as well. Isn’t it nice, you can always rely on your fellow Whovians to set you right when you get your facts wrong! ;) Though knowing you, I’m sure that was just a typo anyway. Well, can’t say anything better than what Falco has said. Being in the US I won’t be watching any of that “Children in Need” and the only chance I’ll get to watch the preview clip is if it turns up on youtube or something. Sure it would be nice to see more. But if I am able to watch the preview, that will be enough for me. And anyway, what kind of person donates to Children in Need only if they get something in return?!"

Why don't we talk about Comic Relief instead asking questions about Jade Goody? Watching this programm you can see how many people donated their money for all different charities, a lot and i mean a lot of celebrities has raised huge amount of money for poor kids in Africa and UK. Clips of those kids in Africa made me literally cry, its heartbreaking to see that they have nobody who would look after them, no food and no medical support, noone to turn to-and millions people like this are suffering every single day. And you know i feel sick to even think about people feeling sorry for Jade Goody-who would rather waste 3000 pounds on whitening her teeth then give it to poor kids and save someones life. She is selfish, yeah she is dying, but i feel sorry more for those dying kids then for her, she uses media for attention and money and nothing else. Funny enough i can bet she wouldnt show her face on Comic Relief raising money for others if she was healthier. Its great to have Comic Relief-because its gives hope for a lot of people who feel that are fogotten! First of all, the reaso i asked this question is because all i can see on Celebrities section is questions about Jade Goody, i don't ask or talk about her, just asked why don't you stop talking about her and talk about more important issues. AND I DON"T HATE HER, I JUST DON"T CARE ABOUT HER-2 different things. And i do give my spare coins to charities all the time, i do raise money for charities! And i don't consider her as celebrity-what the hell did she ever do-BB-big deal-hate that low IQ programm anyway! Lapland-'Also 27 is considered a too young age to die from cancer when she has so much to live for.' What is this all about-2,4,10 years of age is consideres even more yonger age to die-silly comments!!!Every child has a lot to live for!

Lennie Melvin replied: "Um... well you're the one asking questions about her tbh."

Stephanie The Pineapple #3 replied: "People can talk about Jade Goody, or Comic Relief, or whatever the hell they want on Yahoo because it's free speech! I doubt your little rant will make more people talk about Comic Relief or less people talk about Jade Goody."

littlehaba replied: "There was lots of celebs that didn't show their faces raising money. Why is this Jades problem. And so what - who cares how she makes her money? The public have made her money for her. All she's done is tell her story. Does your point about not feeling sorry for her because kids are dying in Africa stem to other sick people as well. Do you have this view on Gail Porter when she was all over the papers with her hair loss, or Kylie with her breast cancer??? x"

parkfieldnr16 replied: "Your contradicting yourself, because you just asked a question about her"

laplandfan replied: "I actually feel sorry for both Jade and the poor people in Africa. Both bring tears to my eyes for different reasons. people are more interested in Jade goody because it is happening here for all to see (that want to) in the UK. Also 27 is considered a too young age to die from cancer when she has so much to live for. Also tell me this. Would you if you had jades money not want to spend it on yourself and your family? I know i would. I would also give to charity and want to change the world if i could. How do you know that Jade has not given to charity?????? Also Jade is far too ill to have been on comic relief. She is in the end stages of her cancer. She is home to die now and is treasuring her time she has left with her family. No one can blame her for that. It is so easy for us to be critical but it is not us that is dying. Comic relief is a totally separate issue and needs to be treated as such."

Smoochy Poochy replied: "Umm all celebrities use media for attention and money Jade is no different and she has actually donated quite a lot to charities of her choice. Lots of celebrities use their money for cosmetic and material purchases the only difference here is that Goody is on her death bed. She is in her last days of life and should live it as she pleases who can deny her that? it's something we all have the right to do regardless of who we are or what we do. I'm not sure why you hate her so much when she has done no worse then any other person in the public eye, I am not a Jade Goody fan but I do hope she has a peaceful end and I hope somehow her children will not suffer to greatly for the death of their mother although it is inevitable."

Nick B. replied: "although really who cares about any of this, people have to die the worlds already getting over crowded, the more crowded the planet gets the more tense Society becomes and the more war and famine spreads to counter act the growth. Not only do these things happen but economic changes occur such as accelerated changes in climate and more pollution in every sense. If war stops and peace comes the world will run till it hits the wall. Either way the best we can ever do is turn to our nations to stay the strongest and survive on our own. its grim but reality is somehting no one wants to deal with."

pmt853 replied: "Unlike you?"

Sienna♥♡♥ replied: "guess what? I agree, I have never heard of her in till a few days ago, but I have seen so many questions about her and now feel like an expert! But these days people care more about what they see on tv or in mags and not so much about sick, starving and dieing kids in Africa. We have lots of Charity things at my school to raise money for things like the starving kids and cancer council and things like that and I always work hard and donate. :)"

SHEILA H replied: "I agree with you there should have been more questions about Comic Relief but sadly they are still talking about Jade. Not a Jade fan but sympathise with her and her family. As for Comic Relief well they did very well getting all those millions, at least they will be able to help other people in need, here and abroad. Obviously people do not want to talk about Comic Relief they want to talk about Jade, well it is their right but at least you have mentioned Comic Relief, thanks for that."

JULIE E replied: "Because shes one of our own. And her dieing has given a lot of people the courage to get a smear done.GET A GRIP GIRL."

Peaches replied: "I totally agree! xx"

stunt plane loses wing and lands - amazing ? watch clip? o.k. i've got money resting on this now. i say it is real , others say it is computer animated. they must be wrong aren't they ? can anyone direct me to proof it actually happened ?... this link should work>
Metal Health replied: "You a link , she's a busted.... Fake... need proof.... The pilot 'James Andersson' doesn't exist outside of his website (owned by Killathrill), and this video. The claims that he's one of the 12 Red Bull pilots are false. Just check out the Red Bull website! Viral marketing for Killathrill clothing company. Nothing more."

tracy replied: "Cant watch it. Is the link working or is it me?"

johnnydangerously59 replied: "It's faked. Look at how fast it comes to a stop. Planes going that fast take longer to stop. Also look how hard he lands yet no bounce. It looks really cool but it's an ad for the company listed on the plane."

viajando :) replied: "It looks a bit fake to me. I showed this video to my friend who mentioned once he saw another video of a military aircraft landing without a wing, this can be seen on youtube as well: If that doesn't work search youtube for "f-15 flying with one wing" But anyway, my friend went into the trouble of reading a lot about this one you mentioned and it seems it was done with a model airplane, but in such a way that in the end you think is a real airplane (there is a person getting out of it) so the transition from model to real is very good."

Do lots of African immigrants offer white girls money for sex? Like when I was in London, UK I met some like this. One was actually really successful at this. He took pics & clips of them during sex. He showed it to me on his phone & laptop. And some of them were very attractive. I think they were mainly Eastern European chicks. He even had pics of a young Latin cleaner lady working in the hostel. She was posing nude for him on the couch. He told me he was thinking that Western women are whores. What do you think ?? like he was a businessman & lived in UK since he was a child and he had been staying in this hostel for 3 years he said @Qwerty: No, I meant another one like this. Only he was poorer and maybe less succesfull. Also the other guy preferd Jamaican women edit: "met" another one. He was more into Jamaican women @ArabJesus: Is it true? @Evil Charlie: yes true. But he tried with all women he met

Andrea Vanessa Schoenknecht replied: "Mwahahaha For real??"

Harmony ~beat it~ trolls replied: "SIGH...idk. I doubt it."

Ali [Suspended] replied: "Whites and Latino females are known to be more sexually driven and promiscuous. AND im not being racist, I am white."

Qwerty replied: "So...one guy does it so that must mean lots do it, right? Are you serious? Look at sex slavery, dude."

Hi, Daddy! replied: "Well, since men here marry non-virgins all the time, they have no reason to not do that for some extra cash."

EvilCharlie replied: "I wouldnt blame him for thinking that - why are they doing it. Maybe if they showed some decency and self respect - who knowwsss - maybe eastern european women wouldnt get that label. And there are loads of women who struggle financially - prostiution shouldnt be the resort. Some women wouldnt compromise their integrity for a few quid. Get a job."

Kitty H (EX biracial, now black) replied: "White women are known to be submissive and sleep with anything and everything. Us black ladiez are up-tight not too picky but we damn sure don't fool around with anyone."

Ashlea replied: "I don't think that a African nor a black guy would offer a white female money for sex! I think that the white girl would be paying his bills and giving him sex whenever he wanted it! Get it straight!"

Zumaria replied: "No, I would say that it is probably the wealthier white woman looking for 'exotic sex' with the foreign men. I say that because in many Caribbean islands and in some African countries, many white women come looking specifically for chocolate men to have sex with, and they get it. One woman from England even left her husband and now lives here in the Caribbean and has 2 baby daddies. In Kenya, it is so known that white tourists scout out Masai men for sex that some tribesmen went to the beaches to make money. So its the other way around, they get paid. Here is a link about it...."

Chris Kennedy replied: "This is the main reason for travelling all the way from Africa to our country, blonds are first on the list"

Moi1990 replied: "In London there is a big problem with Eastern European women being trafficked for sex. Now i'm not saying that the majority of Eastern European women in London are prostitutes but there are quite a few and that seems to be the case with the women he was showing you. If he tried that with English or other Eastern European women he'd get a slap in the face. I live in England and i've met a few African immigrants and none of them have ever dared offer me (or any other White woman i know) money for sex."
